Who We Are
Founded in 2022 originally as an LLC, Olive & Ark began as a working-mom solution—created out of the need for intentional, faith-filled childcare while parents worked nearby. After three years, God called us to step fully into ministry, and we transitioned to a 501(c)(3) Christ-centered ministry, serving families with a holistic approach to childcare.

We support families during one of the most formative seasons of life by intentionally nurturing children through faith, connection, and creation-based care. Our unique on-site parent engagement model blends Jesus-centered programming with nature-rich, non-toxic spaces, allowing children to explore, grow, and flourish as God designed them.

After operating in three locations, the Lord opened the door for a major milestone: our own permanent facility. This space allows us to plant roots, expand our reach, and serve families long-term. To steward this gift well, essential upgrades are needed so the environment fully reflects the care, safety, and dignity children deserve.

At Olive & Ark, children grow best when they are rooted in Jesus and grounded in creation. We emphasize outdoor nature play, fresh air, and a non-toxic environment, allowing children to move, explore, and learn in alignment with God’s design. Time spent outside—climbing, imagining, creating, and resting—supports physical, emotional, and spiritual development.

Indoors, we maintain a calm, nurturing, and non-toxic environment, with materials and furnishings selected with prayer and purpose. While parents complete their workday nearby, children are cared for in a space that feels peaceful, beautiful, and faith-filled—a place where they are seen, known, and deeply valued.

Why We Fundraise
Olive & Ark operates on a membership-based model, with dues intentionally kept accessible for families. While dues sustain daily operations, they do not cover large-scale capital improvements.

Because of our unique on-site parent model and our conviction to keep Jesus at the center, we do not seek state funding. Instead, we self-raise funds, trusting God’s provision through community partners. This approach allows us to remain faith-led, mission-focused, and uncompromised in our values—including our commitment to creation care, outdoor learning, and non-toxic spaces.
